Max was the 1993 ASSA Reserve Winners Dog under judge Harriett Smith and Runner-Up to Best in Futurity under judge Linda More. Max finished his championship owner-handled exclusively from the bred-by class by his owner Michelle Brouse. He was bred by Michelle Brouse, Wendy Mount and Liz Bianchi. Max consistently produced elegant outline, correct structure and sweet, outgoing temperaments in his offspring.  Although his first love was not the show ring, his correct structure, beautiful movement and moderate size was appreciated by many fanciers. His goodnight kisses and snuggles will always be missed at Alibi.

Image was bred by Elizabeth and Lawrence Canfield, Classique and spent his early life owned by Guy and Thelma Mauldin of Kismet who finished his championship. After several visits to Virginia as a young dog, Image came to permanently reside with Michelle Brouse, Alibi and Maddy Aldrich, Protocol. He produced three National Specialty winners: Alibi’s All Ways Kismet, RWB ASSA 1988; Ch. Rion Silhouette, AOM ASSA 1993; and Ch. Alibi’s Trade Secret, RWD ASSA 1993. Image consistently improved head detail, outline and structure including the hard-to-find correct front assembly placed well under the body with correct length of upper arm.  His singing along to “We Are The Champions” will always be missed at Alibi.
